The Jumbo guitar was made with one thought only… volume. Before electronic amplification its large body was needed to resonate to be heard alongside of the singing groups at the time. This style found much of its popularity with country western players. The most recent take on this instrument has seen its body shrink, the mini-jumbo being the result. Being that the jumbo was developed for performance we have equipped the Mini-Jumbo with a Fishman Ion Preamp. |
